IT Applications & Systems Specialist (Local IT)

About the Role:

As an IT Applications & Systems Specialist , you will join our local team at Preh Portugal (Trofa), playing a key role in supporting and evolving our IT applications landscape, for our local site. You will act at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring efficient system operations, supporting end users, and driving the implementation of digital solutions that enhance operational performance.

The Challenges in Front of You:

• Act as the go-to expert for SAP first-line support, assisting end users and ensuring compliance with local legal requirements.

• Collaborate with SAP Key Users to test and implement new system packages.

• Drive the design, coordination, and implementation of new applications.

• Lead and coordinate testing phases for application deployments.

• Translate business needs into IT solutions and document processes clearly and effectively.

What You Bring to the Table:

You're more than your resume, you're analytical, proactive, and solution-driven. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or similar.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT applications, systems, or related roles.

• Solid knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is mandatory).

• Understanding of IT technologies such as MS Windows, Networks, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, and IIS.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.

• Fluency in English in an international environment.
