Automation and Control Process Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Role

As an Automation and Control Process Engineer, you will join our growing team at Preh Portugal (Trofa), contributing to the validation, optimization, and continuous improvement of advanced production systems. You’ll be part of an innovative, international environment, working with cutting‑edge technologies that shape the future of mobility.

The Challenges in Front of You:

• Approve and validate equipment for new production lines;
• Develop and integrate new functionalities into equipment software;
• Integrate new variants into production lines;
• Perform calibration and adjustments on equipment;
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting and optimizing equipment cycle times.

What You Bring to the Table:

You're more than your resume, you're proactive, curious, and driven to deliver excellence. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
• Experience in software development using Visual Studio C# and LabVIEW;
• Experience in PLC programming (Beckhoff and Siemens) and industrial robots (KUKA);
• Knowledge of SQL Server;
• Knowledge of machine vision;
• Knowledge of CAN and LIN protocols.
